Thing 7

Lots of reading and listening involved in thing 7. I am getting used to communicating via e-mail at hte library rather than by memo. I still find myself jotting notes from e-mails as reminders rather than sending myself a "reminder note". I am amazed at the speed at which most people are able to text message. It takes me for---ever just to enter a new contact number into my cell phone. Maybe if I could find the backspace button??? I have attended a few webinars as training sessions. As an attendee they went very well. As a presentor I would have LOTS to learn.

Again this would have been a bit more fun if I had used something more appropriate than a picture of water lillies, but as I have mentioned before, I am using what is available to me.

Thing 5

This is a Bead art picture that I created at the
big Huge Labs Flickr site. I would have liked to use one of my own pictures, but I work on a shared computer. I have been asked not to download anything more. So I am working with whatever is available on the computer here at work.

Thing Four

I chose this picture because I have very fond memories of hiking around Jordan Pond in Acadia National Park when I visited my daughter who lives in Maine. It was a beautiful summery day. We rested on some sun-warmed rocks and drank blueberry juice. None of the pictures I took caputred the beauty of the area nearly as well as this one.
